$65–$75/hr | 6-Month Contract-to-Hire
We're partnering with a leading transportation company to hire an AI Engineer to support rail optimization and service analytics initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of data engineering, data science, and AI, focused on building production-ready solutions using modern LLM tooling.
What You'll Do:
Build data pipelines and AI-driven solutions on Azure + Databricks
Develop and deploy LLM-powered systems using Claude
Train, evaluate, and optimize models for operational decision-making
Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to drive insights from telematics and operational data
Required Experience:
Hands-on experience with Claude Code (skills, sub-agents, hooks, MCP, etc.)
Strong background in Data Engineering or Data Science
Experience with Databricks

Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's preferred)
Nice to Have:
VS Code experience
