Job Title: AI Engineer Location: Charlotte, NC Work Arrangement: 3 day in office with 2 day WFH Client Industry: Banking Duration: 24 Months Contract Schedule: Monday to Friday About the Role AI Engineer with Redis and Triton Inference server Experience. MUST HAVES 2-3 years’ Experience with LLMs (LLaMA 3, GPT, Claude, Mistral, etc.) 2-3 years Strong understanding of RAG architecture and implementation. 7 plus Proficiency with Python and working knowledge of Java. Strong experience with SQL and relational databases. Hands-on with Redis or other vector databases. Experience deploying models using NVIDIA Triton Inference Server. Familiarity with GPUs, Docker, OpenShift, and Kubernetes. Solid Unix/Linux command-line and scripting skills. CI/CD experience using XLR, Datical, Jenkins, or related tools. DAY TO DAY Design and implement LLM-based applications using LLaMA 3 or comparable foundation models. Build and optimize RAG pipelines integrating with vector databases such as Redis, FAISS, or Pinecone. Develop backend systems using Python (primary) and Java (secondary). Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analytics. Deploy AI models using NVIDIA Triton Inference Server in containerized environments. Manage and optimize GPU workloads for inference tasks. Work within Unix/Linux environments to automate pipelines and deploy code. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using XLR (XebiaLabs Release), Datical (Liquibase), and other DevOps tools. Participate in Agile/Scrum teams, actively contributing to sprints, planning, and code reviews. Compensation Hourly Rate: 60$-65$ per hour This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
