You build the AI systems that power Pressrun's content engine. From fine-tuned language models to automated publishing pipelines, you'll design and deploy the infrastructure that lets us produce exceptional content at a scale that shouldn't be possible with a team our size.
What you'll do
Design, build, and deploy AI-powered systems for content generation, editing, and optimization Develop and maintain LLM integrations, prompt pipelines, and evaluation frameworks Build automated workflows for content production, quality assurance, and distribution Optimize model performance, latency, and cost across production workloads Collaborate with editorial and strategy teams to translate content needs into technical solutions Evaluate and integrate new AI capabilities as the landscape evolves Maintain high reliability and observability across all AI systems What we're looking for
5+ years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years focused on AI/ML systems Production experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, open-source models) Strong Python and TypeScript; experience with modern AI frameworks Understanding of RAG architectures, vector databases, and embedding systems Experience building reliable, production-grade AI pipelines — not just prototypes Comfort working in a fast-moving environment where requirements evolve weekly Nice to have
Experience with fine-tuning and RLHF Background in content, publishing, or media technology Familiarity with AI agent frameworks and tool-use patterns Equity participation Health, dental, and vision insurance Unlimited PTO with a 3-week minimum $2,500 annual learning & development budget
