Key Role
Possess a strong foundation in machine learning (ML), natural language processing (NLP), and data science, and develop expertise with Generative AI. Balance broad AI and ML expertise with hands-on GenAI experimentation and solution-building, helping accelerate AI adoption across the enterprise. Lead and contribute to AI and ML projects by prototyping and deploying AI and ML models. Identify and deliver Generative AI use cases, including LLM-based solutions, prompt engineering, and workflow integration. Mentor junior team members on emerging GenAI practices. Support the team’s efforts in adoption of AI through custom development, customer engagement, and partnership building.
Responsibilities
Lead and contribute to AI/ML projects by prototyping and deploying models.
Identify and deliver Generative AI use cases, including LLM-based solutions, prompt engineering, and workflow integration.
Mentor junior team members on emerging GenAI practices.
Support AI adoption through custom development, customer engagement, and partnership building.
Basic Qualifications
7+ years of experience in AI, ML, data science, or data analytics
5+ years of experience developing ML models for business applications
5+ years of experience with programming languages, including Python and SQL
2+ years of experience with Generative AI tools and techniques, including LLMs, embeddings, RAG, and prompt engineering
2+ years of experience contributing to or collaborating on analytics products using version control systems, including GitHub
Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Experience with data visualization or dashboarding tools, including Tableau or Power BI
Experience with client management and stakeholder engagement
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications
Experience with distributed data and computing tools, including Databricks using Spark
Experience building or supporting AI agents
Experience in AI ethics, governance, bias mitigation, and responsible AI principles
Experience with technical writing, including presentations
Public Trust
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, CS, Physics, Statistics, or Quantitative Social Sciences
Vetting
Applicants selected will be subject to a government investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements of the U.S. government client.
Compensation
Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, contract-specific affordability, and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
