Applied AI Engineer

We're partnered with a leading quantitative investment and technology firm that is building out a new generation of AI-powered tooling and looking to hire an AI Engineer to help drive the initiative.
This is a highly hands-on role focused on identifying real business problems and building AI-driven solutions that improve how engineers, researchers, and domain experts work. Rather than conducting pure AI research, you'll design and deploy production-grade systems that leverage modern LLMs, agents, and workflow automation to create measurable impact.
What You'll Work On:
Agentic AI systems and multi-agent workflows
Internal copilots and knowledge assistants
Workflow automation and AI-powered productivity tools
RAG applications and retrieval systems
LLM integrations and business-facing AI solutions
Developer tooling and internal platforms
End-to-end AI product development from concept to production
Required:
BS or higher from a top-tier academic institution in Machine Learning, AI, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
Strong software engineering fundamentals
Expert-level Python development experience
Experience building and deploying AI applications in production
Hands-on work with agents, LangGraph, LangChain, MCP, RAG, or similar frameworks
Experience partnering with stakeholders to solve business problems through technology
Ability to operate independently and take ownership of projects from idea to delivery
Excellent communication skills
