Embedding with enterprise customers, the full-time AI Forward Deployed Engineer will analyze procurement workflows, build and deploy tailored AI solutions using Zip's infrastructure, and manage customer relationships across a small portfolio of accounts remotely.
Key responsibilities
Understand customer procurement processes to identify high-ROI problems and solutions
Build and deploy customized AI agent solutions using Zip's AppStudio and infrastructure
Manage customer relationships and parallel workstreams, ensuring timely delivery and high stakeholder trust
Required qualifications
3+ years of experience in enterprise procurement or finance operations, owning processes end-to-end
Direct experience building AI agents or automated workflows with tools like Zip's AppStudio or similar
Proven track record of managing complex customer engagements independently
Technical fluency to build integrations and diagnose workflow issues without engineer assistance
Domain knowledge in procurement or finance to establish credibility with senior stakeholders; formal credentials are a plus
