AI/Generative AI & Agentic Systems Engineer
JOB SUMMARY
This role will build intelligent systems that generate novel content and data and exhibit autonomous decision-making and action-taking capabilities. It requires a strong foundation in software engineering to develop, integrate, and deploy advanced AI solutions. By leveraging large language models and other generative techniques, the role will create sophisticated AI agents capable of independent problem-solving and goal achievement to enhance operational efficiency and enable new product features.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, develop, and deploy generative AI models (e.g., LLMs, diffusion models)
Architect and build agentic systems with autonomous decision-making capabilities
Integrate generative AI and agentic solutions into existing products and services
Develop and maintain software infrastructure for AI/ML pipelines
Develop and implement data pipelines for training and evaluating AI models
Collaborate, document, monitor, and evaluate AI systems
Conduct research and experimentation with new generative AI and agentic techniques

EXPERIENCE
Required
5 years' experience in Software Development (Python preferred)
3 years' experience with large language models (LLMs)
3 years' experience building and deploying AI agent systems or similar autonomous systems
2 years' experience developing and deploying machine learning models in production
Preferred
2 years' familiarity with Cloud Computing Platforms
1 year experience with agentic frameworks (e.g., LangChain, AutoGPT, Semantic Kernel)
1 year experience deploying AI models at scale in high-throughput, low-latency environments
SKILLS
Proficient in Python and relevant AI/ML libraries
Experience in prompt engineering and fine-tuning LLMs
Knowledge of generative AI techniques and applications
Ability to design and implement agentic frameworks and architectures
Knowledge of grounding generative models with external knowledge sources (e.g., retrieval-augmented generation, knowledge graphs)
Familiarity with MLOps principles and tools for deployment and monitoring
Understanding of security implications and mitigation strategies for generative AI and agentic systems
Ability to stay up-to-date with AI advancements
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
EDUCATION
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related field

Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related field

Pay Range
Pay Range Minimum:
$78,900.00
Pay Range Maximum:
$147,500.00
Base pay is determined by qualifications, experience, internal equity, market factors, and geographic location.
